The network has 6 urban rail lines and 133 stations, covering more than 229.5 km — from Gombak in the north-east to Putra Heights in the south-west, and from Kwasa Damansara in the north-west to Putrajaya Sentral in the south.

Frequently asked questions

The KL Metro network covers 6 urban rail lines operated by Rapid KL: 2 LRT lines (Kelana Jaya and Ampang/Sri Petaling), 2 MRT lines (Kajang and Putrajaya) and the KL Monorail. Together they serve 133 stations across the Klang Valley.

First trains run around 06:00 daily and last trains around 23:30 daily. Frequencies are 3 – 5 min during peak hours and 6 – 8 min off-peak.

A typical single ride costs RM 1.60 – RM 4.00 depending on distance, with the minimum at RM 1.10. Children under 7 ride free, OKU card holders ride free, and seniors with MyKad get 50% off.

Yes — the My50 pass gives unlimited rides on all Rapid KL urban rail and buses for RM 50 per month. The My100 extends this to KTM Komuter and MRT feeder buses for RM 100 per month.

Tap your contactless bank card or a Touch \‘n Go eWallet via the QR reader at any gate. You can also use the physical Touch \‘n Go card or buy a single-journey token at the station vending machines.
