Welcome to klmetro.org, an independent guide to the Rapid KL urban rail network of Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley, operated by Rapid Rail (Prasarana). The network has 7 urban rail lines and 155 stations: the LRT Kelana Jaya, Ampang, Sri Petaling and Shah Alam lines, the MRT Kajang and Putrajaya lines and the KL Monorail — from Gombak in the north-east to Putrajaya Sentral in the south and Johan Setia in Klang.
Here you will find a page for each line and station, the network map, timetable-based service hours and frequencies, ticket information and a route planner. Station lists, travel times and frequencies come from the timetable data that Prasarana publishes on data.gov.my.

7 urban rail lines operated by Rapid KL: 4 LRT lines (Kelana Jaya, Ampang, Sri Petaling and Shah Alam), 2 MRT lines (Kajang and Putrajaya) and the KL Monorail. Together they serve 155 stations across the Klang Valley.
First trains leave around 06:00. According to the timetable data, the last departures are around 23:15 on the Kelana Jaya Line, 23:25 on the Ampang Line, 23:30 on the KL Monorail and around midnight on the Sri Petaling, MRT and Shah Alam lines on weekdays (MRT lines until about 22:55 at weekends). Frequencies differ by line — see the schedule page.
Single fares are distance-based: you pay according to the stations where you tap in and out. Tokens can cost slightly more than paying with a Touch ‘n Go card. Check the exact fare at the ticket machine or on myrapid.com.my.
Yes. My50 (RM 50 for 30 days) is for Malaysians with MyKad. Visitors can buy Rapid Kembara (RM 25 for 1 day or RM 55 for 3 days) or Rapid Bulanan (RM 150 for 30 days). Prices apply from 1 January 2026.
Rapid KL gates accept Touch ‘n Go cards and single-journey tokens only. Contactless bank cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and QR codes do not work at the gates; use them at ticket machines or counters to buy a token or top up a card.
