Prices from 1 January 2026 (Prasarana, reported by Malay Mail, 16 December 2025). Rapid Kota (RM 10 for 1 day, RM 25 for 3 days) is for Malaysians.

- Tap in and tap out at the gates — the fare is based on the distance from origin to destination.
- Tokens can cost slightly more than the same trip paid with a Touch ‘n Go card.
- The My50 pass (RM 50 for 30 days) is only for Malaysians with MyKad; visitors should look at Rapid Kembara or Rapid Bulanan.
- Keep your Touch ‘n Go card handy until you have left the station: you need it at the exit gate.
Frequently asked questions
Single fares are distance-based and depend on where you tap in and out. The ticket machines show the fare for each destination; tokens can cost slightly more than paying with a Touch ‘n Go card.
Yes. My50, Rapid Bulanan and Rapid Kembara cover Rapid KL rail lines, the BRT and Rapid KL buses (My50 also covers MRT feeder buses). They do not cover KTM Komuter or the ERL airport trains.
Not at the gates. According to Prasarana (May 2026), the gates accept only Touch ‘n Go cards and tokens. Bank cards and QR payments can be used at ticket machines and counters to buy a token or top up a card.
