- Tap in and tap out at the gates — the fare is based on distance from origin to destination.
- If you make more than ~25 trips per month, the My50 pass pays for itself.
- The My50 monthly pass (RM 50 / month (My50 unlimited)) gives unlimited rides on LRT, MRT, Monorail and Rapid KL buses across the Klang Valley.
- Inspectors can ask to see your Touch ‘n Go transaction history. Keep the card or eWallet app handy.
- The MyRapid Pulse app shows live arrivals, service alerts and trip planner for the whole network.
Frequently asked questions
Single fares are distance-based — minimum RM 1.10 and typical fares in the RM 1.60 – RM 4.00 range. Each tap-in / tap-out is one journey; the My50 pass removes the need to think about per-trip pricing.
Yes — the My50 and My100 monthly passes are valid across LRT, MRT, KL Monorail and Rapid KL buses. The My100 additionally covers KTM Komuter and MRT feeder buses.
Download MyRapid Pulse from the App Store or Play Store. The app shows live arrivals on every line, lets you plan journeys end-to-end, sends service alerts and lets you reload your Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
For major service disruptions (>20 min) Rapid Rail issues service alerts and may provide bus bridging. Single-journey tokens are refundable at the station office; My50/My100 monthly pass holders should contact MyRapid customer service for exceptions.
